Standard Terms and Conditions

1. Payment

a. Payment can be made by cheque or through paypal.

b. Orders are accepted by email, or through our online ordering system.

2. Pricing

a. All prices on the website and in our latest brochures are inclusive of VAT and postage and packing.

b. All prices on the website and in our latest brochures supersede any other prices and are subject to change without notice.

c. Bulk discounts may be applied at the discretion of Scarlet.

d. Wholesale/trade discounts are available for genuine wholesale/trade customers. Details should be submitted via the website contact form for consideration by Scarlet.

3. Delivery and dispatch

a. Shipping is currently free on cookie jar mixes but may be charged at any point in the future.

b. We will endeavour to despatch all items within the timeframes below providing the items are in stock. If there is to be a delay with your order we will inform you immediately by email.

All items will be despatched by Royal Mail or Courier.

c. Any damaged or faulty items must be reported to us within 24 hours of receipt of the order.

d. If your order appears to have been lost, damaged or stolen, and we can make a claim against Royal Mail or our courier for the item, we will redispatch the same order after 15 working days at no charge. If you wish to receive the order within 15 working days, we will charge you the full amount for the order and delivery.

e. If you have been charged for redispatch of goods and your original order is subsequently delivered, you may return it to us for a full refund.

f. If after redispatch of your order, the original order is delivered after 15 working days we will refund the charge for the original order once compensation has been received from Royal Mail or our courier.

g. An invoice will be sent with each order, except for gift items where the invoice will be sent to the payee. All invoice numbers must be quoted in any query or correspondence.

4. Returns and refunds

a. Refunds will be given to customers who contact us in writing by post within 7 days of receiving their goods. Refunds will be given only if:

  i) The returned goods are received at the following address:

  Scarlet, 10 Dean Villas, Knowle, Hants. PO17 5LR

  ii) The goods have not been used or opened and are in good condition. All weights will be checked.

b. Where goods are returned and it is not the fault of Scarlet, we will make a handling charge of 15% of the original purchase price. The price of post and package is not refundable of either the original order or the returned goods.

c. Refunds can only be issued to the payment card originally debited.

d. Refunds will be issued on the day of receiving and checking returned goods.

e. It is the customer’s responsibility for the postage and the goods when returning items to us. Scarlet cannot be held responsible for items lost, stolen or damaged when returned to us. We cannot refund any items we do not receive.

f. It is the customer’s responsibility to make a claim against any item lost, stolen or damages once sent for return to us.

The website design, underlying codes, images, text, graphics and all other items or materials on this website are copyright of Scarlet. All rights reserved. Permission is only granted for electronically copying sections of this website solely for the purpose of placing an order with us or as a shopping resource. All other uses of this website and its content without prior written permission is strictly prohibited. Legal action will be taken and full costs recovered against any such occurrence.

6. Privacy

We are committed to maintaining your privacy. All personal information you provide to Scarlet will be handled in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act and will remain strictly confidential. No personal information about you will be shared with any other organisation without your prior consent. We will capture your email address ifyou contact us and may use it for future news and promotions but will not pass it onto any third parties. If you do not wish to be on our mailing list please just let us know.
